push/FOLD is thrilled to tour to San Diego, CA to perform alongside LITVAK Dance in their third Dancing Outdoors! Take a road trip, get some sun, and see some dance as we share the bill with LITVAK Dance and guest choreographers Zuleima Burrel from Hermosillo, Mexico and Ido Gidron from Jerusalem, Israel, and Khambatta Dance from Seattle, WA!

push/FOLD's Briley Jozwiak and Samuel Hobbs travel to our sister city Bellingham, WA to set our work 'Early'! Over a single weekend, we have the opportunity to work with the dancers of Bellingham Repertory Dance and set the duet that launched push/FOLD.

Invited to perform at the Seattle International Dance Festival (SIDF), push/FOLD makes the journey north to showcase an excerpt of ‘Early’ on June 11, 2022. push/FOLD shares the evening with trio Akoiya Harris with Nile Ruff and Maven and LINxSIG (Ivana Lin and Mary Sigward).

push/FOLD returns to Samuel's alma-mater, Western Oregon University as a special guest artist to perform alongside faculty artists and alumni to Jump Start the return to live performances and dance classes after a year of quarantines and shutdowns due to COVID-19.

Portland’s own push/FOLD, led by multi-disciplinary artist and composer-choreographer Samuel Hobbs, makes their international, in-person, debut at the Festival Internacional de Danza Contemporánea de la Ciudad de México.

Selected as one of five artists to represent the United States, push/FOLD performs their 2018 work ‘Early’—push/FOLD’s first evening-length work by Samuel Hobbs and push/FOLD’s first-ever self-produced performance.

push/FOLD presents “Bodies“ as a special invitation for the 33rd annual Dancing on the Edge Festival. Screened at the historic Firehall Arts Centre on July 15, "Bodies" features a 50-minute selection of push/FOLD's performance works and film productions.

push/FOLD is honored to share the festival line-up with several renowned artists including Shay Kuebler (Radical System Art), Wen Wei Dance, Rachel Meyer, and Lesley Telford (Inverso Productions), amongst many others.

As our city continues to grapple with the realities of COVID-19, Oregon artists: Tempos Contemporary Circus, push/FOLD, ELaFaLa Collective, and AWOL Dance Collective present a unique performance for JUNCTION:21, livestreamed from the historic Alberta Rose Theatre!
