push/FOLD presents the annual Union PDX - Festival of Contemporary Dance this November 4-7 at the renowned Hampton Opera Center! Featuring local, regional, national, and international artists making contemporary work in afro-cuban, break, street, and contemporary dance, Festival:21 boasts student and evening performances, artist-talks, masterclasses, and two new professional development workshops for artists.

Following each performance (November 5-7), join us as we chat with the artists in a facilitated Q&A. Learn about their process and artistic developments, features of their work, and experiences as professional artists navigating their communities and the world today.
Performances are approx. 95 minutes with an intermission. In-person and virtual tickets available.

Festival of Contemporary Dance
push/FOLD presents the annual Union PDX - Festival of Contemporary Dance. Established in 2019 to address barriers to access and visibility for dance artists across the globe, the Union PDX festival features evening performances, artist-talks, outreach performances, and masterclasses by regional, national, and international artists.
Professional artists and companies with a focus on making contemporary work from ANY dance genre or tradition are encouraged to apply.
